Little Owl Information

The Little Owl is the smallest owl in the Netherlands. These owls can be found throughout Europe. Asia and North Africa. They like a mixture of open land with trees and fields. Little owls nest in holes in old trees and old buildings. They will also nest in specially made nest boxes. During the breeding season three to five eggs are laid and these hatch after 28 days of incubation by the female owl.
